Project Overview
Helidragon was commissioned by ZTL, a specialist groundworks and earthworks contractor, to produce a video case study showcasing its contribution to Project Spark in Goole, working alongside main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland.
The objective was to demonstrate ZTL's expertise through a real construction project, highlighting the scale of the earthworks, the specialist plant and equipment involved, and the experience of the people responsible for delivering the work.
Filming on location, we documented the operational activity and interviewed key members of the project team to explain ZTL's role and its contribution to the wider construction programme.
The finished film provided ZTL with a professional case study that could be used to demonstrate its capabilities to prospective clients, support future tender submissions and strengthen its position within the construction sector.
Our Filming Approach
Our approach combined on-site filming, operational footage and interviews to communicate the scale and technical nature of ZTL's groundworks and earthworks operations.
We captured the movement of construction plant, the handling and placement of materials, and the progression of work across the site. Wider views established the scale of the operation, while ground-level filming highlighted the equipment, working methods and detail involved in delivering the project.
Interviews with key personnel provided the narrative, explaining ZTL's responsibilities, the challenges of the work and its contribution to the wider Project Spark construction programme.
During post-production, we combined the interviews with supporting footage to create a clear and engaging account of the project, demonstrating ZTL's practical expertise and its working relationship with Bowmer & Kirkland.
The resulting case study was designed to communicate ZTL's capabilities to future clients and provide valuable content for business development, marketing and tender presentations.
